The OSEntreprendre Challenge kicks off its 25th edition

The OSEntreprendre Challenge is back for its 25th edition in Gaspésie and the Magdalen Islands.

The contest celebrates the initiatives of established and aspiring entrepreneurs in the region every year.

The challenge has four components: « School », « Business Creation », for start-up businesses, as well as « Doing Business Together », which is aimed at those who buy their products from Quebec suppliers.

The « Réussite inc » category is for businesses that have already participated in the contest and are still in business five years later.

Young people from elementary school to university, school stakeholders and business leaders can submit their applications by March 14 at 4 p.m.

The national finals of the OSEntreprendre Challenge will be held next May.

In 2022, $29,500 in scholarships were awarded to regional winners.

Five of them were from Magdalen Islands: Chic’O Poils grooming salon, Mini maestro inc’s eco-responsible musical toys, the Flottille artisan-e-s libraires cooperative, Alcyon sel de mer and the Grosse-Île high school students.
