Andrée-Maude Renaud becomes Municipal Clerk

Andrée-Maude Renaud is taking over from Jean-Yves Lebreux as Clerk of the Municipality of the Islands.

The Bassin native took up the position about three weeks ago and says she is very happy to be wearing this new hat within the municipal authority.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Laval University and completed a master’s degree in business administration and another in notarial law before entering the job market.

Ms. Renaud points out that the day-to-day life of a court clerk is multi-faceted, allowing her to draw on her various professional experiences and interests.

She adds that she was able to benefit from Jean-Yves Lebreux’s knowledge during her training, which began last January.
