At the beginning of the summer season, CTMA’s priority list remains available for Magdalen Islanders who wish to leave the archipelago.
The register allows Island residents to benefit from a priority seat that would become available on a sold-out trip.
Claudia Delaney, the carrier’s director of communications and marketing, says that from now on, all you have to do is call to make your request.
As of mid-April, 128 requests had been forwarded to CTMA, and 126 of them were resolved.
She noted that, as in previous years, night crossings were added to the Madeleine II’s summer schedule to facilitate the transportation of residents.
She says that as of today, tickets are available for some of the overnight trips and the remaining reservation slots will open in sequence over the next few weeks.
