The Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) is preparing to make many of its services available online as of February 20 on a platform called « SAAQclic ».

However, a transition period will be necessary to allow the SAAQ staff to familiarize themselves with the new work methods and to migrate data to the new site.

As a result, certain services deemed non-essential will be suspended between January 26 and February 19 inclusive.

It should be noted that users will have access on the new platform to a « client file » in which all information related to driver’s license and registration will be available.

In addition, it will now be possible to transfer ownership of a vehicle and print a temporary license plate without having to go to the SAAQ offices.
