Grosse-Île: first public session for new elected officials

The Grosse-Île municipal council adopted two resolutions, Monday evening, aimed at regulating the development of the wind industry on its territory.

These adjustments are meant to harmonize its zoning and urban planning bylaws with those of the Maritime Community, as specified by the general director of the municipality, Carole Lemieux.

The amendments to the current bylaws were the subject of a public consultation on October 21st.

Carole Lemieux also informed elected officials that she does not intend to renew her engagement within the municipal administration, at the end of a one-year contract.
