Paving work: important obstacles at Cap-aux-Meules

The ministère des Transports du Québec is proceeding with paving work on the main road at Cap-aux-Meules as well as at the intersection of Petitpas Road and Route 199.

By email, the MTQ indicates that traffic will alternate every day of the week between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. until October 24.

The first paving project will cover a 4 km stretch of Highway 199 between Chemin du Quai and Chemin Forest, in La Vernière.

At the same time, MTQ crews will be working on Petitpas Road between the traffic light and Eloquin Road.

The department advises that the announced work may be modified due to operational constraints or weather conditions.
