A new source of funding is available for businesses and organizations in the tourism industry that are looking to optimize their use of digital tools.

Subsidized by the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation du Québec, the initiative supported by Événements Attractions Québec has a budget of approximately $1.2 million.

To qualify, projects must be aimed at implementing digital solutions and fall within at least one of the following areas: boosting sales revenue, improving customer relations and customizing offers, developing new clienteles and new services, or optimizing productivity.

Financial contributions are non-repayable and range from $7,500 to $60,000 per organization, and up to $150,000 for group projects.

The maximum rate of assistance granted is 75% of eligible costs.

Applicants can be businesses, non-profits or cooperatives and have until May 24 to submit a project.

The complete list of eligibility criteria and the application form are available on the Events Attractions Québec website.

It is also possible to register for an online information session that will take place on April 20.
